***50% marks in graduation or
post-graduation degree shall not apply for persons appointed as
teachers prior to the commencement of the National Council for
Teacher Education (Regulations, Norms and Procedure) second Amendment
Regulation 2010.

In
order to be considered under the deputed category the teachers from
Secondary/ Higher Secondary schools affiliated to W.B.B.S.E./
W.B.C.H.S.E. must produce a copy of the appointment letter from the
District Inspector of Schools and a No Objection Certificate from the
Managing Committee of the school duly countersigned by the District
Inspector of Schools (The Managing Committee must clearly certify whether or not the teacher teaches in class IX, X, XI and XII), at the time of interview and admission. Jadavpur University will not take the responsibility of disbursement ofdeputation allowance. |

**Candidates
who have passed his/her last examination through a distance learning mode have
to sit for a written qualifying test to be eligible for admission. |

#Only
the current students of Jadavpur University who have appeared in
M.A/M.Sc 4th semester (second year second semester) examination 2014
securing at least 40% marks in each course and at least 50%(40% for
SC/ST and 45% for PD) marks in the aggregate of all marks obtained in 1st, 2nd and 3rd
semester examinations are also eligible. For such candidates the
percentage of marks (in case of grade, the mid value of the corresponding range should be inputed for marks) obtained in the aggregate of 1st, 2nd and 3rd
semesters examinations will be considered for preparing the merit list.
Therefore, they should input the total marks of three(3) semester examinations of M.A/M.Sc course.
Their provisional admission will be liable to be cancelled if they fail
to secure at least 50% (40% for SC/ST and 45% for PD students) marks in
the aggregate in M.A/M.Sc final examination 2014.

The available method subjects are Bengali, English, Sanskrit, History, Mathematics, Physical Science, Work Education and Education.

Jadavpur
University has accepted in principle that each and every student of the
University shall be duty bound during the entire period of studentship
with the University to immediately report to the Dean of Students if
any ragging is noticed either in University hostel or on University
campus. If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the
Authority, the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and
if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the Authority would expel
him/her from the University. |
